Sched!

I got my itinerary for Uganda last week! And any doubts that i have are now washed away!
The first week i will be spending in a Kampala Hotel, just getting acclimated and figuring out the ropes of being in Africa! that next week I get my host family assignment, which I am nervous for, but it will be an experiance which is all I am truely looking for. I get to go into Rwanda and go to a Genocide memorial (YAAY! and sadness all at once), get to spend some time hanging out in a rural community, and of course with my alltime favorites: REFUGEES!

I did a nerdy thing and joined the "uganda" group on facebook, but i have met some cool people! 2 of the 3 i have started talking to will not be there by the time i get to Uganda, but one boy gave me some really awesome info, and one of the girls seems a lot like me, in the sense that she likes refugees. So i am just trying to talk to as many people as possible right now.

One thing that i learned i need to pack: a headlamp! (a flashlight for your head lol). Apparently the electricity in Uganda is anything but stellar
